Wurlitzer 1050

Wurlitzer called the 1050 the "Nostalgia Model". It was a stylized update of the Fuller designs. It was an attempt to recapture some of the lost glory (read: market share). It did not work. The 1050 was too delicate and too expensive for operator acceptance.

Many 1050’s languished for years in back rooms and were never shown to the public. There are at least two 1050s in original boxes that very occasionally show up on the collector’s market. The value of these two in their never opened boxes is very high and will probably never be opened. Making it the ultimate collector's item for any jukebox collector.
After Wurlizer quit, Sonota and Rockola made the exact same jukebox, but without success.
