When Seeburg in 1948 had taken a big lead by being the first with a 100-select jukebox,
they were superseded by other manufacturers. Wurlitzer had in the meantime a 104-select
and Rock-Ola and AMI had even a 120-select. But in 1955/56 Seeburg hit back with
four 200-select jukeboxes, including their most valuable collector's item the V-200.
Later
followed the VL-200.
The automotive styling and the choice of rotating bar are the
most famous trademarks of the 200-select Seeburg.
Seeburg also made for this line
many accessories including external speakers, external volume control and a new remote
controlled "Wall-O-Matic" 200 select wallbox, model 3WA.
